Reverse description Central field features the crowned coat of arms of the Netherlands Antilles, comprising a vertically striated shield bearing six five-pointed stars arranged in a triangular pattern, surmounted by a Royal Dutch crown. Flanking the shield are the large denomination numerals '2 1/2' to the left and the initial 'G' (for Gulden) to the right. A scrolled ribbon below the shield bears the motto LIBERTATE IN ANIMUS. The date appears in the lower exergue, with the circular legend NEDERLANDSE ANTILLEN running around the upper periphery within a beaded border.
