| Obverse description | Central field features the coat of arms of the Hungarian Republic — a crowned shield divided into horizontal stripes and a double cross on a mount — rendered in fine relief against a smooth field. The date is split flanking the shield, reading '19' to the left and '99' to the right. The circular legend 'MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG' (Republic of Hungary) arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering. The denomination '2000' appears in large numerals in the lower field, with 'FORINT' inscribed below in smaller spaced letters.
