Reverse description The reverse presents a finely modeled left-facing bust of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, the celebrated Polish pianist, composer, and statesman, occupying the upper left portion of the field. His characteristic wavy, voluminous hair is rendered with careful sculptural detail, and the truncation of the bust fades naturally into the lower field. An abstract geometric background, suggestive of architectural or musical manuscript elements, frames the portrait to the left and upper right. The legend 'IGNACY JAN PADEREWSKI' appears in two lines in the lower right field, with the dates '1860–1941' inscribed beneath. The engraver's initials 'AR' are visible in the lower left field.
