| 表面の説明 | The obverse features a stylized composition of two heraldic shields arranged vertically in the central field. The upper shield bears the crowned White Eagle, the coat of arms of the Republic of Poland, rendered in high relief. Below it, separated by a narrow waist, is a second shield surmounted by a royal crown and displaying a heraldic charge in relief. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by the date 2009 at the top center, while the denomination 200 ZŁ appears in the lower field on either side of the lower shield. |

Behind the portrait, a panoramic townscape features a domed neoclassical rotunda and flanking buildings, evoking Warsaw's historic architecture. The commemorative dates 1828 and 2008 are inscribed in the upper field. The curved legend 180 LAT BANKOWOŚCI CENTRALNEJ W POLSCE runs along the lower periphery, and the name KSAWERY DRUCKI-LUBECKI appears in a cartouche at the base of the portrait. |

Issued to mark the 180th anniversary of central banking in Poland, this coin commemorates the Bank Polski founded in 1828 under Tsar Alexander I — a Warsaw-based institution operating under Russian imperial authority during the partition era. The bank functioned as a genuine central bank for the Kingdom of Poland until the November Uprising of 1830 triggered punitive Russian reforms that gutted its autonomy. It was formally liquidated in 1885.
The 2009 issue is a relatively low-mintage collector piece from NBP's ongoing commemorative gold program, struck at the Mennica Polska mint in Warsaw.
