Obverse description Bimetallic trial strike featuring the Hungarian national coat of arms in the copper-nickel centre, depicting the traditional quartered shield with the Árpád stripes and the apostolic double cross on a green mount, surmounted by the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen with its distinctive bent cross. The shield occupies the central field with fine relief detail. The legend MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG (Republic of Hungary) encircles the design along the nickel brass outer ring, with a beaded border running along both the inner and outer edges. The word MINTA (meaning 'specimen' or 'pattern') appears in the lower portion of the ring, flanked by small dots, confirming the trial strike status of this piece.
