裏面の説明	Rectangular flan with rounded corners in proof finish. A finely modeled right-facing bust portrait of Polish Romantic painter Artur Grottger occupies the left and central field, rendered in high relief with careful attention to facial features and period costume. To the upper right, the name 'ARTUR GROTTGER' is inscribed vertically in bold incuse lettering against a striated background panel. In the lower right corner, a colorized artist's palette with brushes is applied, bearing vivid color accents in red, yellow, blue, and green — a distinctive polychrome element celebrating Grottger's artistic legacy. The birth and death years '1837–1867' are inscribed along the lower edge of the field. The engraver's initials 'AR' appear at lower right.

追加情報	Grottger died of tuberculosis in 1867 at thirty years old, having spent much of his short career in Kraków and Vienna producing cycle drawings — Lithuania, Polonia, War, Mourning — that became the defining visual record of Polish suffering under the January Uprising of 1863. He never saw an independent Poland. The NBP issued this coin as part of its long-running series honoring Polish artists and intellectuals, a program that began in earnest after 1989 and has since covered figures across literature, science, and the fine arts. The .925 standard used here matches the specification adopted across most of the NBP's collector silver output from the mid-2000s onward.
