| 表面の説明 | Central field features a finely detailed depiction of the Taedong Gate (Taedongmun), a historic Korean pavilion-style gatehouse rendered in high relief with characteristic multi-tiered tiled roofing and stone base, flanked by stylized vegetation in the lower field. A five-pointed star appears at the bottom of the inner field. The surrounding legend in Hangul script reads the full name of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, arranged around the upper periphery. The denomination '20 WON' and the date '2007' are inscribed in the lower portion of the field on either side of the central motif. |

| 裏面の説明 | Central field depicts a White-bellied Woodpecker (Dryocopus javensis) perched on a diagonal branch, rendered in fine engraved detail showing the bird's crested head, strong bill, and distinctive plumage. Stylized pine or floral sprays decorate the field to either side of the branch. A border of evenly spaced raised dots runs along the lower inner rim. The circumscribed legend reads 'BIRDS OF KOREA' along the left and lower-left periphery and 'DRYOCOPUS JAVENSIS' continuing along the upper-right periphery, all in raised Latin capitals. |
