Reverse description A pheasant rendered in the style of the Joseon-period master painter Jang Seungeop (Ohwon) is depicted in three-quarter view, perched amid bare winter branches that extend across the field. The bird's plumage is rendered in fine detail with stippled feathering on the breast and layered wing feathers. The legend 'PHEASANT' arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script, while Korean inscriptions in the left field identify the subject and its historical period. The artist's name 'JANG SUNG OP' is inscribed along the lower border in Latin characters.
