| Reverse description | The reverse presents a whimsical, high-relief composition of six stylised rabbit figurines arranged radially around a central gilt snowflake medallion, their bodies rendered in frosted silver relief with selective gold-coloured accents on decorative foliage and heart motifs scattered throughout the field. The background is divided into alternating textured panels evoking a festive, wintery atmosphere. In the lower portion of the field, the Chinese character 兔 (rabbit) appears to the left, with the Cyrillic inscription ГОД ТРУСА (Year of the Rabbit) inscribed below in a decorative script font integrated into the design. |

Belarus has issued lunar calendar coins continuously since the early 2000s, but the 2022 series carries an uncomfortable political undertone — the National Bank was operating under sweeping international sanctions imposed following Lukashenko's violent suppression of the 2020 election protests and the forced diversion of Ryanair flight 4978 in 2021. Collector distribution into Western markets required creative routing through intermediary dealers.
