| Obverse description | Central field features an ornate stylized Arabic calligraphic composition reading 'Jumhuriyyat Misr al-Arabiyyah' (Arab Republic of Egypt), executed in an interlaced decorative Kufic-influenced script. Flanking the upper portion of the central inscription are two circular cartouches: the right bearing the denomination '20 Qirsh' and the left reading 'Qirsh' with numerals, both rendered in traditional Arabic script.
