Obverse description Octagonal zinc Notgeld token with a beaded border running along the inner edge of all eight sides. The central field features the large numeral '20' in bold raised relief. A circular beaded inner ring frames the central denomination. The circumferential legend reads 'GROHMANN & FROSCH' across the upper arc and 'LEIPZIG-PLAGWITZ' along the lower arc, flanked by a six-pointed star to the left and a star to the right, all in Latin capitals.

Reverse description Octagonal reverse with a continuous beaded border following the eight-sided periphery. The legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' (small change substitute token) curves around the upper portion of the field within the beaded border, in raised Latin capitals. A twisted rope circle encloses the central field, which bears the large numeral '20' in bold raised relief. Three six-pointed stars are positioned in the lower exergual area, one at center bottom and one at each side, serving as decorative punctuation.
