A raised beaded circle in the central field encloses the large numeral '20' denoting the denomination. The circular legend between the pearl rim and the beaded circle reads 'SPRENGSTOFF A.-G.' at the top and 'NÜRNBERG' at the bottom, separated by small floral ornaments. The overall design is plain and utilitarian, characteristic of German Kleingeldersatz issues of the early 1920s. |

A rope or twisted-cord circle in the central field encloses the large numeral '20' in the field. The circular legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' runs along the upper arc between the pearl rim and the inner cord circle. Three five-pointed stars serve as spacers in the lower portion of the legend area outside the cord circle, with additional stars decorating the lower field. The design is stark and functional, typical of German emergency small-change token issues. |
