| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is printed in dark blue-black on white paper with ornate guilloche borders and the denomination VEINTE repeated vertically along both lateral margins. To the left, a classical allegorical female figure is seated in a vignette within an oval frame; to the right, a detailed intaglio vignette of a steam locomotive at a station with figures and mountains in the background. A red oval serial number overprint appears in the upper centre, flanked by medallion numerals '20' at the corners. Two large circular rosette medallions bearing the numeral '20' are positioned symmetrically on the left and right, each surrounded by intricate lathe-work micropatterns. The centre carries a rectangular guilloche panel inscribed 'EL BANCO ARGENTINO' in two lines, framed by ornamental scrollwork. Small circular rosettes appear at the top and bottom centre as additional decorative elements. |
