Reverse description The central field bears a detailed relief depiction of the Aztec moon goddess Coyolxauhqui, rendered in a style inspired by the famous monumental stone disk discovered at the Templo Mayor. The goddess is shown dismembered, her face adorned with golden bells as befitting her iconography, surrounded by decorative Aztec motifs. The denomination VEINTE PESOS is inscribed in the lower field, accompanied by the date 1978 and the Mexico City mint mark Mo to the right.
