Opmerkingen

Diógenes H. Fernández held the position of Governor of the Banco Central through all four signature combinations documented for this series — an unusually long tenure that spanned the final years of the Trujillo aftermath and into Balaguer's consolidation of power. Four different co-signatories rotated through the secondary position across roughly a decade, while Fernández's signature remained the constant anchor on the note.

The serial letter prefixes track production cleanly: each alphabetical block corresponds to a distinct emission date, making date attribution straightforward even on undated notes — which is the point of the system. De La Rue's serial numbering conventions for Dominican issues during this period were consistent enough to use as primary dating evidence when official documentation is absent.
