Reverse description The reverse presents a highly detailed rendering of the Aztec Sun Stone, also known as the Mexica calendar stone, occupying the majority of the coin's field. The central disc displays the face of the sun deity Tonatiuh surrounded by concentric bands of calendrical glyphs, day signs, and geometric ornamentation executed in fine relief. To the left of the central motif, the denomination legend VEINTE PESOS is inscribed vertically in large incuse letters, flanked by a star above and below. The gold purity statement 15 Gr. ORO PURO appears along the lower field, and the entire design is enclosed within a milled border.
