Obverse description The obverse features an entirely typographic design with no effigy. The primary legend ET LUX IN TENEBRIS LUCET is inscribed in three lines in large capital letters across the upper and central field. Below, to the left, appears a small Swissmint logo mark, with the subsidiary inscription ANNO DOMINI / 2000 arranged in two lines to its right. The issuer name HELVETIA and the denomination FR 20 appear in successively larger lettering in the lower field. The mint mark B appears at the very bottom of the field near the rim.
