| Reverse description | The reverse bears a right-facing portrait of King Louis XIII in profile, engraved by Jean Warin and derived directly from a 10 Louis gold coin preserved in the collections of the Monnaie de Paris. To the left of the royal effigy appear the interlaced monograms of Louis XIII alongside heraldic symbols of the French monarchy. The mint letter 'A', denoting the Paris Mint where the original coin was struck, appears prominently as a historical reference. The surrounding legend reads 'LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ' with the date '2024' and a decorative arrangement of the letter 'L' in reference to the Louis coinage tradition. |
