| Reverse description | Central device comprising the Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, each head surmounted by a crown and both heads together beneath a single larger Imperial crown topped with a cross. The eagle's breast bears a large quartered heraldic shield containing the arms of Austria, Hungary, Bohemia, Burgundy, and other dynastic territories, surmounted by a smaller crown. The wings are spread and elaborately feathered, with foliate decorative elements at the base of the design. A circular Latin legend surrounding the eagle incorporates the date 1780 and a cross, reading ARCHID · AVST · DUX · BURG · CO · TYR · 1780 · ✕. The milled border is consistent with the obverse. |
