| Obverse description | Full-length draped figure of Liberty striding forward, facing left, holding a flaming torch aloft in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, rendered in high-relief sculptural style. Radiating sun rays emanate from behind the figure, filling the lower field, while a rocky outcrop serves as the ground beneath her feet. The Capitol Building appears in small relief in the lower left field. Forty-six five-pointed stars encircle the design along the periphery, and the legend LIBERTY arcs across the upper field, with the date 1907 positioned in the lower right field. |
