Reverse description A heraldic American eagle displayed with wings outstretched occupies the central field, bearing upon its breast a vertically striped shield. The eagle clutches an olive branch in its right talon and a bundle of arrows in its left, with its beak open. Above the eagle, thirteen five-pointed stars arranged in an arc surround a glory of radiating sunbeams, within which the inscription DEO EST GLORIA appears in two lines. The peripheral legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA arcs across the upper field, while E PLURIBUS UNUM is inscribed on a ribbon held in the eagle's beak, and TWENTY DOLLARS curves along the lower border, all within a beaded rim.
