The deity is enshrined within a traditional South Indian temple gateway (gopuram-style arch) flanked by two ornate pillars, with a radiant sunburst halo behind the head. Tall ceremonial oil lamps (deepa stambhas) stand to either side of the shrine. A sacred flame burns at the base in the lower field, and the date 2014 is inscribed at the bottom.
