| Beschrijving voorzijde | The national coat of arms of Liberia occupies the central field, depicting a three-masted sailing ship on the sea, a palm tree to the right, a rising sun on the horizon, a plough and a spade in the foreground, and a flying dove above the shield. The motto legend THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE arcs around the upper interior of the shield border, while REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA appears in bold raised letters along the upper peripheral legend. The denomination 20 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower rim, with the date 2025 divided on either side of the coat of arms. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Liberia has issued legal tender coinage since the mid-nineteenth century but has no domestic mint, outsourcing virtually all production to facilities in Europe and, more recently, private mints in Asia. This piece belongs to a category of modern fractional gold issues produced primarily for the bullion and collector market rather than any anticipated circulation — Liberia's economy runs on the U.S. dollar in practice, making a 20-dollar denomination a nominal fiction.
At 0.311 g, this is 1/100 troy oz gold.
