| Reverse description | The reverse image features Colour Mosaic technology, a combination of engraving and paint techniques that transform a traditional wildlife portrait into mosaic art. More than 130 individually engraved, differently shaped `tiles` combine to form a side-profile view of a grizzly bear wading through a fast-moving, salmon-rich river. While engraved `grout` lines mimic the look of raised tile, different paint effects alter the intensity of each coloured segment, save for the proof shine of the rocks that have been `polished` by the fast-moving water. |
