| 裏面の説明 | Central field displays four large Chinese characters arranged vertically in two columns, reading right to left and top to bottom, with a decorative floral rosette at the centre between the columns. The surrounding legend, distributed along the upper and lower periphery, reads 四川軍政府造 (Made by the Szechuan Military Government) above and 當制錢二十文銅幣 (Copper coin worth 20 cash currency) below. The design is framed by a plain outer rim, and the overall layout follows the standard arrangement of early Chinese Republican provincial copper cash coinage. |

The Szechuan Provincial Military Government came into being almost immediately after the Wuchang Uprising of October 1911, when local revolutionary forces ousted the Qing administration in one of the most strategically significant provinces in China. Szechuan's copper cash issues from this transitional period were struck under genuinely chaotic administrative conditions — the provincial mint changed political hands more than once before the Republic was fully consolidated.
Y#448 is known with significant die variation across the 1912–1914 window, a predictable consequence of interrupted oversight and multiple production runs under different military governors.
