Reverse description Central field displays four large Chinese characters arranged vertically in two columns, reading right to left and top to bottom, with a decorative floral rosette at the centre between the columns. The surrounding legend, distributed along the upper and lower periphery, reads 四川軍政府造 (Made by the Szechuan Military Government) above and 當制錢二十文銅幣 (Copper coin worth 20 cash currency) below. The design is framed by a plain outer rim, and the overall layout follows the standard arrangement of early Chinese Republican provincial copper cash coinage.
