The 'Contract' designation for Type I refers to an administrative distinction within the series — not a design change — reflecting how De La Rue's production runs were authorized and accounted for under the issuing agreement.
Surviving examples in any condition are genuinely uncommon. The 20 Baht denomination circulated actively during a period of sustained economic pressure in the late 1920s, and attrition was high.
