Obverse description The Polish national emblem, a crowned white eagle with wings displayed, occupies the central field. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper rim in raised Latin letters. The date 2010 is divided across the lower field, flanking the eagle's talons, with the mint mark MW positioned between the date numerals. Below the eagle, the denomination 2 is rendered in large numerals, flanked by the currency abbreviations ZŁ to either side. A decorative ring of raised dots encircles the lower portion of the design.
