Obverse description The crowned White Eagle of Poland, the national emblem, is rendered in high relief at the centre of the field, with wings spread and talons displayed. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 2 ZŁ appears in large numerals at the lower centre, flanked by the abbreviations ZŁ to the left and ZŁ to the right. The date is split either side of the eagle in two parts, with '20' to the lower left and '11' to the lower right, each group separated from the denomination area by a row of raised dots serving as decorative dividers. The design follows the standard obverse type introduced for the Polish commemorative Nordic gold series.
