| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a richly detailed allegorical composition commemorating 150 years of cooperative banking in Poland. At center, a prominent ear of wheat rises vertically, symbolizing agricultural roots of the cooperative movement. To the left, stacked banknotes, gold bullion bars, and a column of coins represent financial accumulation and savings. To the right, interlocking puzzle pieces rendered in relief evoke the spirit of mutual cooperation and solidarity. The commemorative legend '150-LECIE BANKOWOŚCI SPÓŁDZIELCZEJ W POLSCE' (150th Anniversary of Co-operative Banking in Poland) curves along the periphery, with '150-LECIE' and 'BANKOWOŚCI' arching across the upper field and 'SPÓŁDZIELCZEJ W POLSCE' running along the lower border. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Part of the NBP's long-running Nordic gold collector series, this issue commemorates the cooperative banking movement in Poland, which dates to the mid-19th century — specifically the credit societies established in Prussian-partitioned Poland by Hipolit Cegielski and Karol Marcinkowski as instruments of economic self-defense against Germanization policies. Those early institutions operated less as banks than as survival mechanisms, pooling capital for a population legally excluded from many forms of economic participation.
