| Reverse description | Each half of the divided coin carries a distinct reverse design that combines into a unified composition. The left half bears the name 'LORÁNTFFY ZSUZSANNA' in the upper field above a circular heraldic seal of Zsuzsanna Lorántffy, featuring a pelican feeding its young, surrounded by a Latin motto legend, with the dates '1600 – 1660' below in the exergue. The right half depicts a winged angel standing within a laurel wreath, holding an open book, representing the Reformed College of Sárospatak, with the abbreviated inscription 'KOLL.' above and 'SÁROSPATAK' and the founding date '·1531·' below. A small Hungarian mint logo appears at the top of each half. The two halves together form a complete round medallion commemorating the noblewoman and patroness of Calvinist education. |
