Reverse description The Imperial double-headed eagle displayed at center, its wings spread and each head crowned, supporting on its breast a large quartered coat of arms incorporating the arms of Austria, Burgundy, Castile, León, and other Habsburg territories. Above the eagle's heads appears an imperial crown surmounted by a cross, with a sceptre and orb visible at the sides. The date appears in the upper field flanking the crown. A beaded inner border separates the central device from the surrounding Latin legend reading ARCHID AVS DVX BVR COM TY, continuing the titulature of Ferdinand II as Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, and Count of Tyrol.
