Obverse description Central field dominated by the crowned royal cipher of Frederik VI, rendered as an elaborate interlaced script monogram combining the letters F and R, surmounted by the numeral VI below. The monogram is topped by a detailed royal crown with arched bands, jewelled settings, and a central orb finial. The design fills the field without a surrounding legend, in a bold neo-classical engraving style typical of early 19th-century Danish-Norwegian coinage.
