Reverse description Central field features an oval shield bearing the Danish coat of arms — three crowned lions passant above nine hearts — surmounted by a large ornate royal crown. The date '1785' is divided on either side of the central shield, '17' to the left and '85' to the right. The denomination and currency legend '2 SKILLING DANSKE' runs around the upper periphery, while the mint master initials 'H.I.A.B.' appear at the base, flanking a small crossed-hammers mintmark. A beaded inner border and a milled outer rim frame the entire composition.
