| Obverse description | Against a mirror-polished field, the relief State Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation is centrally positioned. A semicircular legend reading РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) arcs along the upper rim, flanked on each side by doubled rhombus ornaments. Below the arms, to the left, the precious metal designation and fineness (Ag 925) appear in relief, while the fine metal content and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД) are placed to the right. Across the lower portion of the field, in three horizontal lines, the inscriptions БАНК РОССИИ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination 2 РУБЛЯ (2 ROUBLES), and the year of issue 2020 г. are struck in relief. |
