| 备注 |
The Banco Provincial de Córdoba was one of several Argentine provincial banks that issued their own paper currency in the years before the Banco Nacional consolidated monetary authority in the 1880s. This 2 Reales Bolivianos denomination reflects the transitional monetary arithmetic of interior Argentina at the time — the real boliviano persisted as a unit of account in the Andean provinces long after Spanish colonial coinage had formally ceased, simply because that was what the market understood.
Provincial bank notes from Córdoba in this period are genuinely scarce survivors. Most circulated hard in a cash-poor interior economy and were redeemed or demonetized during the national banking reforms of the following decade.
