| Reverse description | Central design dominated by a large letter V — symbolising Victory — formed by two crossed olive branches and two crossed swords, set against a horizontally lined field evoking the sea. Above the V, a dove in flight carries an olive branch, referencing peace and liberation. A ribbon banner across the lower portion of the V bears the dates 1945–1995, flanked on either side by small renderings of the Union Flag and a white flag, commemorating the Liberation of Jersey. The legend BAILIWICK OF JERSEY arcs along the upper periphery, with LIBERATION 9 MAY inscribed in a secondary arc beneath it, and the denomination TWO POUNDS stated along the lower rim. |
