Issued to mark the 85th anniversary of the Dunkirk evacuation, this coin carries particular weight coming from Jersey. The island was occupied by German forces just weeks after Operation Dynamo concluded in early June 1940 — one of only two British jurisdictions to fall under Nazi control during the war.
