正面描述 Three heraldic shields arranged in trefoil formation, displaying the arms of the Imperial Eagle, Austria/Burgundy, and Vienna respectively. An imperial double-headed eagle surmounts the arrangement, while an angel's face appears below the shields. The date is divided by the uppermost shield and rendered in a straight horizontal line. No peripheral legend is present, the design occupying the full field in a compact, Gothic-influenced style typical of late 17th-century Austrian Pfennig coinage.

附加信息

Leopold I's small billon pfennig issues from Vienna in this period were struck under persistent pressure from the ongoing costs of Ottoman conflict — the siege of Vienna itself came in 1683, mid-way through this very production run. The Vienna mint continued operating through the crisis, though output was erratic and dies were reused aggressively across the emission years covered by the Herinek references.

The span of Herinek varieties here reflects year-dated die changes rather than distinct monetary reforms. Her#2054 is considered the scarcest of the documented die pairings.
