| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the elaborately interlaced royal cypher of Oscar II, composed of the letters O and II in a large ornate monogram with foliate scrollwork, surmounted by the Swedish royal crown. The Stockholm mint mark appears below the monogram at the base. The curved legend BRÖDRAFOLKENS VÄL (meaning 'The Welfare of the Brother Peoples') arcs along the upper periphery in large serif capital letters. |
