A small lined cross appears below the shield. The entire escutcheon is encircled by the collar and pendant badge of the Order of the Elephant, tied to the shield's border. A Latin legend in the king's personal motto runs along the rim, with the issue date and the initials of the mint master (H·C·M·) concluding the inscription. |
