Reverse description The reverse presents a highly detailed naturalistic depiction of two sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) sturgeon in dynamic composition: a larger specimen rendered in fine relief occupies the upper portion of the field, swimming to the left, while a second, smaller individual is shown in profile near the lower portion, its characteristic elongated snout and scute-lined body rendered with scientific precision. Stylized aquatic vegetation and air bubbles appear in the left field, evoking a freshwater habitat. The Latin binomial ACIPENSER RUTHENUS arcs along the upper border, while the Cyrillic legend СТЕРЛЯДЬ ПРІСНОВОДНА (Freshwater Sterlet) curves along the lower rim, completing the bilingual identification of the species.
