Reverse description The crowned coat of arms of the Free City of Danzig occupies the central field, depicting two white crosses on a red shield. The shield is supported on either side by rampant lions facing inward. A five-pointed star surmounts the composition at the top, while the date of issue is divided and displayed in the lower field. The entire design is rendered in a clean, heraldic style consistent with early Weimar-era coinage.
