Obverse description Stylized Polish crowned eagle displayed with wings spread, rendered in an Art Deco manner, occupying the central field. The eagle faces right, its crown detailed with cross pattée, and its talons and tail feathers elegantly curled in decorative fashion. The circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' surrounds the device, interrupted at the top by the date '1923' flanked by ornamental dots. The mint mark 'W' (Warsaw) appears in small letters beneath the eagle's left wing.
