Obverse description
At the centre, the depiction of the Holy Door located at St. Peter`s Basilica. At the top, in an arch, the inscription `IUBILAEUM`, while at the bottom, also in an arch to close the Latin inscription, a series of alternating empty and full fish, symbol of Christianity. On the left, `2025`, the year the coin was minted and `R`, identifying the Mint of Rome; on the right, `RI`, acronym of the Italian Republic, and `C.M.`, initials of the designer Claudia Momoni. Arch-shaped, the twelve stars of the European Union.
