Reverse description High-relief antiqued depiction of Worf, the Klingon officer from Star Trek: The Next Generation, his bust occupying the left portion of the field dressed in Starfleet uniform with Klingon baldric. To the right, the franchised STAR TREK THE NEXT GENERATION logo is prominently displayed above a large stylised numeral 30, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the series, with a detailed rendering of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D overlaid within the numeral. Background elements include textured Borg cube-like geometric panelling and Klingon script inscriptions in the upper right field. The Perth Mint's P mintmark appears at the top edge, and copyright text arcs along the upper right margin.

Additional information

This piece belongs to Perth Mint's ongoing licensed partnership with CBS Studios, which has produced a series of Star Trek-themed legal tender coins issued under the authority of Tuvalu. Worf, the Klingon Starfleet officer introduced in The Next Generation in 1987, appears here as part of that franchise series. The coins carry face value as Tuvaluan currency, though Tuvalu's own monetary authority has no meaningful role in their production — Perth Mint handles everything, and the "issuer" designation reflects a long-standing arrangement between Australia and its Pacific neighbor.
