Sennefer was Mayor of Thebes under Amenhotep II and among the most decorated officials of the 18th Dynasty — his tomb at Sheikh Abd el-Qurna is famous for its painted ceiling mimicking a grape arbor, one of the best-preserved examples of New Kingdom private tomb decoration. Senai was his wife.
