| 背面描述 | Full-colour reproduction of the celebrated 15th-century Russian Orthodox icon known as The Holy Trinity, painted by the monk and iconographer Andrei Rublev circa 1411. The composition depicts three angels seated around a table, representing the Holy Trinity as they appeared to Abraham at Mamre, rendered with characteristic Byzantine stylistic conventions including elongated figures, golden halos, and a subdued ochre and blue palette. The colour image is applied to the matte silver field of the rectangular flan, faithfully replicating the original icon's iconographic programme and spiritual symbolism. |

Andrei Rublev painted the Trinity icon — formally titled *The Hospitality of Abraham* — around 1411, commissioned for the Trinity Cathedral at the Sergiev Posad monastery north of Moscow. It became the most venerated panel painting in the Russian Orthodox tradition, and was at the center of a prolonged dispute between the Soviet state and the Church after it was seized and placed in the Tretyakov Gallery in 1929. Russian Orthodox authorities sought its return for decades.
Niue's silver bullion program has issued dozens of religiously themed pieces under New Zealand's monetary umbrella, this being one of several targeting the Russian Orthodox collector market specifically.
