Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile at center, framed within an elaborate Fabergé-style architectural surround of ornate baroque scrollwork, acanthus foliage, and floral motifs rendered in high relief. Below the portrait, the legend ELIZABETH II appears in the field. A decorative lower panel depicts two symmetrically crossed cornucopia-like ornamental supports flanking a central floral basket on a pedestal, all executed in the intricate jewellery-inspired style of the series. The legend NIUE ISLAND arcs along the upper border, with 2 DOLLARS on the left and 2012 on the right; the mint mark MW and the fineness mark Ag 925 also appear in the field.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse depicts a highly detailed rendition of the Imperial Fabergé Bay Tree Egg, showing a topiary bay tree with a densely foliated spherical crown rising from a straight trunk set in an ornate latticed planter with swag decoration. Four faceted purple crystal stones (Swarovski crystals) are set into the foliage of the tree, replicating the jewelled appearance of the original Fabergé masterpiece. Stylised leaf and floral sprigs flank the composition on both sides against a mirror-polished proof field. The curved legend IMPERIAL FABERGÉ EGGS arcs along the upper border of the oval flan.
