Reverse description A coiled serpent, its scales decorated with delicate floral blossoms, is depicted in a graceful figure-eight form occupying the central field, symbolising the Chinese Year of the Snake. The snake's head rises to the upper left, while a spray of orchid blooms and foliage fills the right portion of the field. To the left, the Chinese character 蛇 (snake) is inscribed in the field. The border is composed of a continuous Greek key fret pattern in relief. The legend 1 oz 999 FINE SILVER appears along the lower rim within the border.
